For more than 20 years, I've helped managers, leaders, and organizations navigate the conversations, challenges, and everyday moments that define great leadership. My approach is practical, personal, and built around one simple belief: leadership gets easier when you have the right tools… and someone who's genuinely in your corner.
MY PHILOSOPHYPeople come before the work because they're the ones doing the work.
That's the philosophy behind every keynote, coaching session, workshop, and training program I create. I don't teach leadership as a checklist. I teach it as a relationship: with yourself, with the people you lead, and with the culture you're helping create.
I didn't set out to become a leadership coach.
My career started in advertising, where I spent more than two decades leading creative teams and eventually serving as Vice President of HR and Organizational Leadership. Long before coaching became my job, it was simply who I was. I was the person teammates came to when they needed advice, wanted to talk through a difficult conversation, or needed someone to help them figure out how to lead people well.
When I launched my business in 2015, I realized something that still shapes everything I teach today:
We spend years teaching people how to do the work, then promote them into management and expect them to magically know how to coach, communicate, motivate, and navigate difficult conversations. Most managers aren't struggling because they lack potential. They're struggling because no one ever taught them how to lead.
That's why I do what I do. I help managers learn practical leadership tools they can actually remember, and actually use, the next time leadership gets messy.

I'm a recovering "I'll just do it myself" manager.

When I'm not speaking or coaching, you'll probably find me trail running, sweating through Bikram yoga, or outside somewhere in Southern California.
I believe boring training is expensive.
