PDF: Team “Get to Know you” Exercise
Get To Know You Team Exercise
Have you ever wished you could hand your team a “how-to” guide on working with you? That’s exactly what a personal user manual provides. This exercise is a fantastic way for teammates to share their preferences, communication styles, and working habits, giving everyone insight into how best to collaborate.
Each team member completes a user manual, which they’ll share with the group to build understanding and empathy. It’s particularly effective for small teams (10 or less) but can be adapted for larger groups over time. As a manager, setting up this exercise fosters a supportive environment where team members can align their work habits and build strong connections.
Download the guide below and lead your team toward a more cohesive and impactful collaboration!
